Primed stretched canvas 20x30 cm // 280 g/m2, 55% linen & 45% cotton, transparent acrylic primer // by Ladoga
Canvases on a stretcher with transparent ground are used for painting with oil, acrylic, tempera colors when creating landscapes, still lifes, portraits.
They are suitable for students, beginners and professional artists. They are also used in mixed technique, liquid acrylic technique ("fluid art"), as a basis for interior design (e.g. photos, postcards, scrapbooking, children's drawings).
Transparent primer allows you to preserve the natural color of the base, the texture of the canvas and create interesting optical effects. The natural color of the canvas can be a color background in the work as a tinted paper when working with pastels. If desired, the canvas can be primed with any color of primer or acrylic paint, making the desired tone of the base. It is easy to make adjustments to the work due to the smooth surface of the canvas: the paint can be completely removed. This is especially important when working with acrylic and tempera paints. On these canvases, brushes are less likely to chip compared to the classic white primer.
The canvases are ready to work: the fabric is primed and stretched on the stretcher.
