Red Aqua brushes // Sable Mix, flat // Size variety // by Roubloff
A flat brush made from a mix of sable hair and synthetics can add abstraction, a sense of understatement, model volume, and gently soften the edge in watercolor painting. The outer cut of the brush gathers into a clear line, and thanks to the shortened exhibition and the calibrated ratio of natural and synthetic pile, washed and wrung from water the brush becomes a real eraser for watercolor. The brush successfully copes with the task of removing paint in watercolor fill, restoring highlights and reflexes.
